We don’t make two readings subsequently because the first reading has an energetic influence on the second one. Therefore we wait for 48 hours for another reading. How then does the electronic stimulus of finding the right point not influence the actual reading?
Because each point is taken to the maximum plateau, then re-read in a uniform manner, the process produces reliable readings. In other words, a typical 3-second reading doesn’t take the point to its maximum plateau, but has the advantage of starting from “0.” Subsequent readings do not. But as long as all points start from “0” you get valid readings.
Of course, subsequent readings do not start at “0” and that is why they are not valid.
So in this case, we work from the other end. Each point is taken to maximum and then the reading is captured. This process captures all points at their maximum, which also gives valid readings, while having the added advantage of helping with point location.
