Hey there AcuGraph User (or future AcuGraph User!) We’ve got a question for you. Are you an AcuGraph Certified Practitioner?
Well, of course, until now, the answer would always be, “No. How can I become one?” Because such a thing never existed… until today!
After months of hard work completely reimagining our AcuGraph training process, we are overjoyed and excited to announce that AcuGraph Users can now become AcuGraph Certified Practitioners and attain an ACP (AcuGraph Certified Practitioner) certificate to show family, friends, colleagues and patients alike that you’ve been properly trained to use the AcuGraph system in practice.
Not only is this a game-changer for seasoned users, but also, it’s a huge deal for new AcuGraph Users, and prospective users. We’ve re-written the AcuGraph software training from top to bottom with brand new video content and extra resources. It’s laid out as a comprehensive and intuitive course that tracks your progress. It will truly set you up for success using AcuGraph in your practice.

Where can I Go to Get Certified?
The new AcuGraph training and certification process is available on the Miridia Technology Learning Portal. If you’ve been with us for a while, it’s the same portal you’ve been using for the last year or so to take your product training, rewatch webinars, and get CEU credit.
Current AcuGraph Users
If you are a current AcuGraph User, you have been automatically enrolled in the brand new AcuGraph training! You can find the new AcuGraph training by clicking the “My Courses” tab on the top menu, logging into your account, and clicking “My Courses” again to see your enrolled courses.
New AcuGraph Users
If you’re a new AcuGraph User, your Learning Portal account was automatically created when you purchased AcuGraph, and you were automatically enrolled in the new AcuGraph training. All you need to do is set a password for your Learning Portal account with the email address you used when you purchased AcuGraph, and you’ll be on your way!

Keep in mind that you have to own AcuGraph 5 and be an active subscriber in order to take the training and receive the certificate–so if you’re on the fence, now is a great time to purchase AcuGraph, upgrade to AcuGraph 5 from a prior version or reactivate your account!

What is the new AcuGraph Training Like?
The new AcuGraph training is divided into 3 parts, then further broken down into modules and short lessons. It’s taught by Dr. Adrian Larsen, the creator of AcuGraph, and Dr. Kimberly Thompson, Miridia Technology’s Clinical Educator.
Part 1: AcuGraph Basics
In Part 1, you’ll learn the basics of AcuGraph like how to download and install your software, how to set up your hardware, how to perform an exam, and how to interpret the Baseline graph.
Part 2: Using AcuGraph in Practice
In Part 2, you’ll get proficient using AcuGraph in your practice. You’ll learn about building a treatment plan, treating both root and branch, managing the patient file, and using all graph types to build a better picture of what’s going on in your patient’s meridians.
Part 3: Patient Communication
In Part 3, you’ll learn about using AcuGraph to better communicate with your patients, market your practice, and achieve the success you’ve always wanted as an acupuncturist.
So What Does this Mean for Seasoned Users?
The truth is, the new training is chock-full of fantastic content and information that’s never really been shared about AcuGraph before, and we’d love for you to take the training. It is beneficial for ALL AcuGraph users.
There is so much new content that wasn’t available back when you were trained, and we’d highly recommend availing yourself of all the new training has to offer!
But, if you are a seasoned AcuGraph User, you’re proficient and confident with the system and you’ve been using it for years, we want you to know that we thought of you–and we’re offering you a fair way to get your ACP without having to watch all the training from start to finish.
That’s why we designed the training to allow seasoned users to “test out” and get their ACP certification quickly! You’ll be able to prove your knowledge by passing the tests for Parts 1, 2, and 3. You have to pass all three tests in order to “test out” and get your official AcuGraph Certified Practitioner designation and certificate.
We’ll even send you a beautifully printed copy of your ACP certificate, in the mail, if you’d like to display it in your clinic! You can request this option after you pass the Part 3 test.
We’d recommend using the training to review any topics you might feel a little bit shaky on, and downloading the study guides for Parts 1, 2, and 3 before you test!
The training is laid out lesson by lesson in small, bite-sized chunks. So there’s a good chance that while you’re browsing the training, you’ll find something you’d like to learn more about. Please take the time, watch the video, and engage with the content. We want you to succeed!
What Does this Mean for New (or Relatively New) Users?
If you are new to AcuGraph (whatever that may mean to you), this training was really designed for you. It is comprehensive and complete. It will set you up for success with AcuGraph in your practice!
You invested in AcuGraph, and this new training is our investment in YOU to make sure you succeed with AcuGraph!
We encourage you to take the training all the way through, from start to finish, in order to receive your certification. We’ve designed it so that you can work through it one lesson at a time, whenever you have the time.
So, if you have a few minutes of downtime between patients, log on and learn for a bit! If you’re willing to invest just a few hours into your training, it will make all the difference in your confidence with AcuGraph.
If you’re a new user taking the training from start to finish, you will also have to pass the tests for Parts 1, 2, and 3 in order to achieve your ACP certification. You can use the training as you test, along with provided study guides, AND your AcuGraph system. We want you to succeed!
Why Should I Become an AcuGraph Certified Practitioner?
Many practitioners have asked us through the yeas why we don’t offer a certification process. And the truth is, we’ve always wanted to! We are so excited that this dream is finally a reality and we hope you’ll take this journey with us and prove your knowledge of the AcuGraph system.
If you’re wondering WHY you would want to be certified, here’s the scoop. AcuGraph is a comprehensive system, and it takes a bit of time to become proficient with it. But it’s also a system that many patients are starting to notice. Patients WANT to see a practitioner who uses AcuGraph proficiently. And we want to make sure we’re doing our due-diligence to get practitioners trained to use it to the fullest!
AcuGraph Certified Practitioners mean business. They’ve put in the time and effort. They’re talented and proficient. They don’t take short cuts and they want to offer the best for their patients. That’s what the ACP Certification signifies!
We don’t want you to be floundering when you’re using AcuGraph. We want you to be confident. To recognize the value that AcuGraph adds to your practice. When you have an ACP Certificate framed and hanging on your wall, you’re sending the message to your patients, your colleagues, and other medical professionals that you know what you’re doing when you use AcuGraph.
For the next several months we are going to be highlighting practitioners who have gotten certified. And, at some point in the future, the AcuGraph Practitioner Directory will only include practitioners with their ACP. Don’t worry-we’re going to give everyone plenty of time to get certified before we make that transition.
